PRODUCT DETAILS:
Each Bale is approximately 24" Long x 12"x12".
Each Bale covers approximately 40 - 50 square feet @ 3" thick.
First time applications should be applied at 6" thick with annual renewal at 3" thick.
When calculating square feet needed, ensure a min 6" overlap of bed edges for your tuck & roll.

EXAMPLE: Regular Long Leaf Pine Straw
Area 1: 50' x 100' = 5000sf
Area 2: 20' x (60'+.5' bed edge) = 1210sf
Area 3: 36' x (50'+.5' bed edge) = 1818sf

1st time application = 6" thick, each bale covers approx 20sf
8028sf/20sf = 402 bales, round up to the nearest 10 = 410 bales

Renewal application = 3" thick, each bundle covers approx 40sf
8028sf/40sf = 201 bales, round up to nearest 10 = 210 bales
